Soulah was sleeping soundly at the foot of a tall, bare oak, soaking up as much sun as she possibly could on a generally cloudy day and an almost completely white coat, but the sound of something cracking knocked her into wakefulness, causing her head to shoot up as she glanced around the clearing for danger. Once again it sounded, and she looked up in time to see a large branch snap and coming crashing down to the forest floor. Soulah wasted no time in jumping out of the way, all senses alert within seconds. After a moment of tense silence, she relaxed, sighing, "Annoying." She sat down, giving herself a quick once-over before nodding in acceptance and turning around, facing the basically empty area. It was a little cold due to a soft breeze combing through the area, but it didn't make a difference to her thick fur. She could take blizzards; this was nothing. There was no going back to sleep now- the short adrenaline rush had her wide awake, and bored out of her mind. She hadn't seen anyone in the last few days, so things were going slowly.
