The dark always seemed to cloak creatures in a protective cloak but leave them oblivious to whats lurking along side them. Filth's dark fur was enough to seem invisible in the night, only his strong musty smell and bright blue eyes, that shown like two stars in the night sky, gave away his position. Crouched low to the ground, hidden but not out of sight, his murderous glare was locked on a snow hare. It nibbled on a long blade of brown grass the size of its own ears that casually rested on its fluffy back. Filth moved a bit closer, his nails digging passed the icy snow and into the dirt ground. His stubby tail twitched, his muscles screamed to run at it, but his stomach didn't want to loose a meal. Step. Step. His blood lust got the best of him and he lunged straight for the hare, who dashed at the first sound of noise. Ears back, head low, Filth's paws pounded on the frozen ground after his small pathetic meal. Adrenalin coursed through his veins, he picked up speed, getting so close to the snow hare that he smelt the fear admitting from it. Then it took a sudden sharp turn. The massive wolf skidded to a halt and dived after the rabbit who ran down a hole in the ground. Filth shoved his great muzzle down the hole, felt around for something soft and snapped his jaws shut around its delicate ribs. The hair struggled and squealed in the brutes jaws before he brought them together, tearing the pathetic creature clean in two.
Crunching on the skull of his kill, Filth inhaled the intoxicating smell of blood that seeped through the with snow, painting it crimson. He was as content as a dog with a bone. He hadn't eaten in days, and his stomach thanked him gratefully every time he swallowed. Crickets chirped nearby and bugs buzzed in Filth's ears. He reached up with a hind leg and scratched furiously, getting little satisfaction. Deciding to move on, the massive black brute stood up, shaking blood off his pelt. He lifted his maw into the night air and breathed in deep, searching for a large body of water. His muscular legs drove him towards a small pond nearby. The crescent moon reflected off its clear surface but was disturbed by a black wolf staring at him with such hatred and resent in his bright blue eyes. Lowering his maw to the water, Filth let the sweet liquid slide down his throat and into his stomach, leaving a cool sensation wherever it touched. He lifted his head once he had his fill, watching his reflection twist and distort, grinning down at it.
His stomach full, his breath slowing, Filth lied down next to the pond and let his eyes droop close.

Perry sat there. She did nothing else but sit there. By the lake, during the night, Perry's pale fur could be mistaken as a ghost to those on the other side of the lake. She looked at her reflection in the starstuck lake and smiled. She had not lost any of her beauty and her eye's... oh, how they were heated like a flame. With a sigh of effort, she lifted her rump off the ground and began a steady trot around the lake. The thick fur brimming her neck was nearly as whispy and beautiful as a Luzion's! Her trot became a bit of a run as she noticed a turn in her path. Before she knew it a wiff of something disgusting caught her moist nose and she stopped immediatly. What the... there must be some carion laying about, She thought with a sneer. Inspite of her senses telling her to run like the devil was just a few feet ahead she continued onward with the determination of a charging buffalo.
The scent she had caught was actually a wolf. Perry smiled in that cruel way of her's and came up to the dark colored wolf. He smelt horrid and by the looks of it, didn't look that good either. Never, Her thoughts snickered. Perry came up to the wolf slowly, trying not to make a sound. If he was asleep or awake- it didn't really matter because he'd be awake soon enough. Her eye's looking nonchalantly to the brimming forest, she took her front paw and drove it at his ribs like her life depended on it. "This thing is better off dead", Perry spat; she didn't care that this was a heevlane and could easily kill her for this. She'd been in near death situations before, if she died here it'd be fine with her. To Perry, her life had no meaning to it. If you're alive and well that's fine but all your worries vanish into thin air once you die. A smile, one that was lighter, formed.
