alpha auditions
Yay, finally! I know I was supposed to make it when there were 10 members, and now there's 36. o-o; -blinks- So, I decided to redo the post after a terrible mess up. (i had just finished and I saw something cool, clicked it, and it all went away forever OHNO) Kay? If you wanna be an alpha, read it all. >:D info Yeah yeah, "I already know how to do this". ... Shut up and read it you whiny bum! These alpha auditions were created at the top of my head. So don't criticize how I'm doing this because it's not like all the others, okay? :D There is going to be a form for you to use; so use it. Fill it out correctly, or else you might get a lower percentage of a chance to become the alpha. I'm not gonna choose the crazy wolves just yet. Wolves must be at least two years of age if they want to be the alpha! Only auditioning for the first alpha, not the second. The second is chosen by the first. Get it? Got it? Good. You have to remember; simply putting up the form on this thread means that you have been taken into consideration for the position, and have as much chance of getting it as anyone else. What am I trying to say? Don't post your bio just because you want to see if you'll get it, because what if you do, you'll be sentenced to ultimate activeness at Project Sublime. If you can't handle that, don't put up a post. One submission per person, please. Getting the alpha position, you'll have to do a variety of things afterward. First and most important; set up a pack registry, as I'm gonna call it here. You put up the prey levels, herb levels, --yes, I know we already have those; but some prey favor different terrains over others during some seasons. I'll pm you the levels when they change.-- rankage and the wolves in them, and a form that is created so that members can join your pack on that thread, with that form. More info is given when you are chosen. Second is accepting bios. You get to accept the bios as well; but only for the wolves that wanna be in your pack! They won't apply in the pack already, they will say so in the 'pack desired' section. Don't put their wolf up in the registry though; they're loners when they are accepted, remember? You guys will almost be basically moderators. As alphas, you have to be active, be a role-model (in your own way, of course), and accept applications. Sounds like a mod...so... Oh, and guess what? You get to name your pack! -gaspgaspgasp- Mmhmm, isn't that grand. But it can't be something like 'Shadow Pack', or 'Treefall Pack'. It has to be a made up name, like Tusrelle, or Labradollie. :D Please run through a list (or one name) through me first, and I'll pick my favorites for you to choose from for the pack. All through pm. Good luck you guys! Aiding with my decision is your activeness before and after you have posted your audition. So I hope you've been active, and have quite some post counts... form name, GENDER: AGE: PACK DESIRED: put luzion, delspurr, or heevlane pack, please!

SWANN, GENDER: FEMALE AGE: 3 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS PACK DESIRED: LUZION PACK
BIO: SWANN
BEST RP EXAMPLE: Swann laughed lightly as she turned to face the fea who had just approached them, " Oh hello." She smiled her topaz eyes shining as she turned her head around , but gave up and just turned her whole body around to face the she-wolf. She lightly flapped her large, brown bet-like wings and laughed again at the other vixen's joke about her not being a illusion. Swann didn't mind, she didn't think the she wolf she feel bad that she didn't have wings.
"I don't mind the company." Swann smiled again as she looked at Saydrein, "I'm Swann." She said introducing her self formally, it just felt better that way. And too Swann was exspecially happy on this glorious suny day. She laughed and looked around, if there was going to be a pack, who was going to be the alpha. But that idea was brushed off rather quickly. Swann didn't think she should make a good alpha, but oyu never know. She might be, but let's not get hasty and jupm to conclusions. Swann reminded her self with a laugh.
Swann was glad that she had finally meet other wolves, at first she thought that she was the only wolf here, but she was proved worng. And this time it was for the better not the worse. She shuddered as she was reminded with memories of the dark, dark past. Those were the things she didn't like talking about, and she would never bring them up in her life time. That was something she was certain of.
Joy pumuped throught Swann's veins as she looked around, was something big going ot happen today. She wasn't exactly sure. But to her meeting new wolves was something big, so who knows. Surely not Swann, that was obvious.
She drew her topaz gaze once again to Zayadrein, she seemed like a friendly wolf. She probably was but in this day and age it was getting harder and harder to tell. That's what Swann didn't like, she liked being able to tell if wolves were nice or not, it just gave her a sort of comfort.
But what was comfort to anyone any more, it was nothing. Now it seemed like all anyone ever thought about was fighting or killing. Some of the most unapeazing things in the world and that was what ticked off Swann. Like anyone valued her opnion, but it matter alot to Swann so I guess you could say she was the only wolf that valued her opnion, but hey yo wold be surprised. :ife is always full of surprises, some are good some are bad. It just wasn't up to you.
word count: 439, I can do much better thoguh!
WHY YOU SHOULD BE CHOSEN: I'm fun. XD I don't know.
WILL YOU BE ACTIVE? Yes, I will try my hardest!
CAN YOU MAKE IMAGES FOR THE PACK? ( it's okay if you can't, I want to know this so I can be prepared to make the images for you. ) No I can't, sorry!

Caelan, GENDER: Male AGE: 3 years PACK DESIRED: Delspurr
BIO: Caelan
BEST RP EXAMPLE:
Bright sienna eyes danced over the scene before her, taking the myriad sights and sounds of Sortiron for the first time in over a year. A haze of dusk floated over the backs of the wolves gathered here, such was the quantity of animals who wished to be a part of Dachau. Not that she could really blame them. Who wouldn't want to be a part of this spectacular country? The silky ivory and ginger plumage of her tail swept slowly back and forth across the hard packed dirt upon which she had placed her rump, raising her own small cloud of dust that obscured the true colors of her body and gave her a more muted, commonplace appearance. Her finely chiseled skull tipped sideways and toward the earth for a moment; large, conical ears sweeping forward briefly in approval as she took in the now muddy coloration of her limbs and what parts of her shoulders and chest she could see. The rest of her pelt had been concealed by the same dirty brown as the dust beneath her paws from the constant pendulum of her sweeping tail. Just what she wanted. Besides the slimness of her limbs and the sharpness of her features the lass had become utterly nondescript in appearance, certain to put off any unwanted attention and keep her exotic heritage from making it hard to convince the Zielle's that she belonged here. Inkly lips pulled back from pale fangs as she briefly allowed herself a satisfied smile before her hind legs straightened, sinew coiling beneath her long pelt, and brought her upright upon all fours. Time to go.
Without further hesitation the female strode into the throng of wolves that crowded the square. They all clambered for the attention of the Zielles, wolves of every size, shape, and coloration. Smoothly, with an agility trained into her in Kotivade, she wove through the masses. Such was her gift of movement that it was rare for another shoulder to brush against her own, or to find her way blocked by the sudden appearance of another body. The lady found the spaces that briefly appeared and danced through them, always moving forward and never back. It pleased her to be among so many who were as moved by this country as she was; the noisy hustle and bustle of the square as everyone jostled for position a sweet type of music to her ears. Ah what would it be like to be able to influence the tides of this place? To be the one who's voice moved the masses into order, to be the one who determined the lives of everyone around her. It made her blood rush in anticipation. Her concentration slipped momentarily as the thought of such power dizzied her and she suddenly found herself slammed up against the muscular side of some male, her nose buried deep into a mottled pelt of various grays and blacks. Oh god. How embaresssing. It looked as though she was this male's love, rushing up to meeting him in the square. Quickly she backpedaled, snapping her slim muzzle out of the brute's plush pelt and glancing quickly around. There was nowhere to move. All around her jostled, all too closely, other furry bodies. A soft groan escaped her at this point. She wasn't even close to being where she wanted to be, she was still nowhere near a Zielle.
The big blackish beast still blocked her path to the front, seemingly unware that she'd practicall molested him by accident. At least that was a plus. He stood taller then she by a few inches and he stood on long, sturdy limbs so that between the ground and his belly was a good deal of clear air. Akello acted quickly, folding her large ears back upon the planes of her skull and bending downward to slide underneath his belly and into clear space. A quick backward glance over one shoulder showed her that the hapless male was still completely unaware of the problems he'd caused her. Ignorant. With a satisfied huff she continued her journey toward a large uprising in the land where a Zielle was certain to be. After all, they had the hard task of sorting wolves into packs and being on higher ground would only make the task of truly observing body language and such that much easier.
word count: 730. From a different rp site with a different character. I'm still a little rusty but I'll get better as I go along.
WHY YOU SHOULD BE CHOSEN: Years of rp experience with multiple Alpha characters. Plus I love this stuff!
WILL YOU BE ACTIVE? Aboslutely positively.
CAN YOU MAKE IMAGES FOR THE PACK? Nope...my artistic abilities really stink. Lol.

Amaris Uuvanimo Raca, GENDER: Female AGE: 4 Years PACK DESIRED: Heevalnne (Caelali Palaes, Caelali Shasos, Caelali Paestyl, Shylaer Os Todol, Shas Mosar Palaes, Thysodael Shasos, Madoros Paestyl, Thysajael Aelaesteir)
BIO: Here
BEST RP EXAMPLE: Trust is something hard to gain, and yet something so very easy to loose, one whom had crossed her path in the past had found this simple fact out. Simply by telling her no and placing his paws where no male should, he stood on thin ice and soon proceeded to dance on the thin stage. Stupid, Daring or affraid? Fear was the first emotion evident in the wolves eyes, and yet joy was there also, a mask perhaps? A way to hide the true fear he felt, a way to appear stronger in order to have your foe stand down...
The morning was dead, no wind blew, no birds sang, no sun shone, and the peace of the forest almost disturbing. A crow screamed far in the distance, death? Had one lost there life through natural causes, had the crow caught itself a meal, of was something else unfolding, was a war coming? A storng promised and by mid day it had arrived, every forest animal hid away in burrows and dens trying to hide from the heavy rain that fell. Thunder rolled and lightning would strike a tree, lashing out in its rage. The sky was angry and yet there was no apparent reason behind it's anger...
She stood, a huge dark figure, a shadow would be what she could be considered for she gave no mevement, even her breathing was hard to see. Her black pelt hung soaked on her well muscled frame, her head raiesd ever so slightly and her eyes closed. But one marking would tell you who she is, and yet to not know her is to not know a villan. Her past ties in with many dark, twisted wolves most of which are, or were male. One would pin you down while another would take pride in force breeding you, and once done they would leave expecting you to fear them, wrong move....
The rain was heavy on her face, her pelt heavy, hanging soaked on her huge frame, and yet she currently had no reason to move. The lightning struck a tree bringing the tree crashing to the ground not fifteen feet from the boulders on which she stood, something moved with great speed behind her and yet she found no reason to be affraid. When you have nothing to loose you fear nothing at all, slowly she truned her huge body to face whatever had made such a sudden movement, a fellow wolf it turned out to be. But a young one, mismatched eyes glared down at the whelp wishing she had never turned to face the thing...
Pups brought back memories, memories reminded her of pain, pain reminded her she still lived. And that simple fact brought a question to mind, why was she alive, she had nothing to live for and yet she was refused death, refused what she beleived to be peace. A reason to this perhaps, is there a meaning to living, must you discover and understand something before you are granted freedom. It took a number of seconds to pass before she focused on the whelp once more, it was tiny compared to her, or perhaps compared to any. No older than about eight weeks...
"You stand here before me for a reason, why are you here and what do you want."
Much less a question and more her demanding a reason, the tiny creature crouched low, its small fluffy ears lay back against its skull but still it chose to speak...
'They want you, they say you are not alive, they want proof... They want to meet the lie..."
It seemed that the creature had realised it had done wrong being the one to deliver teh message for once she had found out the information on the loctaion of these 'ones' that wanted proof that she still breathed the same air as they the whelp ceased breathing and she set off on a journy...
Huge pwerfull legs threw her forward in long strides, the dead pup hung in her jaws limp and only moving due to the force behind each stride, the wolves were not a days travel from where she had stood, the whelp had been following her for quite a time now and yet never had she really truly noticed it. And now, it hung in her jaws ready to be shown to it's waiting pack. But did they wait for the right thing, they waited for the whelp to bring back some wolf not the wolf bring the whelp. Trouble...
Trouble was ahead, the scent of blood hung in the air, and it was not the pups blood, this blood was old. Three to four days old, she could smell the dead and wounded and yet they were completely hidden from her veiw. Approaching the nearest tree and whispering an appology to it before quickly climbing it, she climbed the tree with speed greater than what she had running, finding a number of branches that together would support her mass she began a search from above, the scent had to come from somewhere and it was not easy to find....
It took a time but eventually she had found what she was searching for, a deer lay dead and a fawn lay wounded beside it's mother. She felt no guilt or sorrow for the small animal, but rather she was pleased for it's misfortune for with any luck the little animal would draw in the wolves that currently Amaris searched for. She had not set down the pup nor considered it, she would not loose her warning yet, no she would only loose it when she found this pack that expcted that they would find her...
By daybreak the next morning the wolves were slowly starting to approach the fawn and it's mother, and from what they said it suonded like they had caused the distress a number of days before. The whelp had been set down on a branch ahead of her as she watched the wolves circle the fawn and it's mother, the baby started to cry out and kick it's mother trying to get the doe to wake up so they could run. But the only help the fawn got was a startled scream from a female wolf as the whelp was thrown from the trees at her...
Hunting the small fawn quickly ended, and for a short time the pack stared at the dead pup but the hunter became hunted, as always it does. They took to making an attempt at climbing the trees but none appeared of her same linage but for all she knew there were three below her right dow Look behind you! she shouted mentally at herself, drawing herself to looking behind her, nothing... But the moments distraction gave her hunters time to find her location and set to work calling on there fighter or alpha, someone of higher ranking than themselves...
It did not take long for a huge male Heevalne to appear in the forest ahead of her, the voice of the male rough but he called Amaris down from her tree to consider speaking with himself and the small band of wolves that surrounded him, for a time it was considered, but as the male began to approach her tree it did not take long to decide that she was better off going down ot him than staying up in the tree and waiting for him to come to drag her from the tree and attack her while she was down...
Once all four paws were safely upon the groudn once more Amaris and the male began to talk to one another, the first was finding out who the other was, and then finding out proof that they were who they say ther are. With introductions out of the way they were able to speak about the reasons for Amaris being searched for. After a time of talking they soon come to terms of peace, Amaris joining there pack, or perhaps being claimed by the male and they would let her be free, or at least as free as a claimed female could be...
Months slowly passed and she found herself liking being amongst other wolves for the first time in a number of years, and as she thought everything had become right and she would be able to trust these wolves it took a turn for the worst. The male called his strongest wolves to pin her to the ground due to being affraid that she would destroy him if he had come alone, he not only tortured her but made an attempt at focing her to bare pups, this being the second time a male had done such a thing Amaris knew what she was to do...
Repeating actions of the past and escaping the males with many wounds and yet none so bad as what she could have escaped with, she ran to start with, but with the rewarding sounds of wolves suffering and then rushed paws behind her she halted, spun and lowered her head allowing a vicious snarl to rip from her throat. She fought the male, driving him away and forcing him to stand down, but somethign happened that she did not expect the wolves of his pack began to follow her around to start with they would just follow, then they started to do things for her...
It took a time to figure out what they were doing, and eventually she realised that she had defeated there alpha, and with doing such a thing you take there place as alpha and unless the pack is willing to fight you that pack becomes your own...
So do not fight someone unless you know what yoru getting yourself into beforehand... word count:1647
(I have made this much shorter than it would have been, if you would like me to type this up in full I can do them pm it to you Labbie.)
WHY YOU SHOULD BE CHOSEN: There is no reason to choose me over others, I have as much a chance at this spot as they do.
WILL YOU BE ACTIVE? As active as a busy person can be, should hopefully be on every evening.
CAN YOU MAKE IMAGES FOR THE PACK? hm... I will say no here...

Kiligan, GENDER: Male AGE: Seven Years PACK DESIRED: Heevlane (I'll PM a list of pack names)
BIO: Kiligan
BEST RP EXAMPLE: He let a low hiss reverberate through his chest as he walked. The prey in the area scattered, leaving him alone; that's what he had hoped for. He collapsed to the ground, wheezing in pain. It was back. The heavens had been in a sick mood when they made him this way; the pain shot through his spine as he lay in the dirt. I don't understand why I'm stuck with this. It went through his head over and over and over again. He snorted at his self-pity.
"Get up, you brute." The voice shocked him from his position on the ground and he stood, shaking violently as he felt his body slowly begin to fall apart. His eyes turned to view the owner of the voice; it was a hulking savage of a heevlane who sneered as he stalked towards the violet male. Kiligan coughed, backing away with some difficulty. "What are you doing here, Kiligan?" The words rolled from his mouth in his rich, baritone voice. A wheeze came from Kiligan as a response; he sat heavily, cringing from the pain.
"Leave me, Reizn. I don't want you here," he hissed at this new male. The brute, now known as Reizn, smiled at him. His teeth caught the sunset, giving them an eerie glow as he sat in front of the male. Stupid male. He winced, standing to leave the clearing. Reizn followed closely.
"You might not want me here, but I feel that I'm allowed to be here. I'm allowed to do what I please," he told Kiligan, a haughty tone catching his voice. Kiligan cringed. He knew that Reizn was right. In this state, he was all but defenseless; Reizn would tear him apart if he tried to force him away. A look of defeat crossed his face as he pondered his escape. There wasn't much of one. The best he could do was allow Reizn to follow.
Reizn took the chance with enthusiasm. He always enjoyed emotionally brutalizing this old friend of his. "What have you been up to? You look weak." Kiligan's ears flattened. He was weak. It had been that way for several years. And Reizn would know better than anyone; they had grown up together. He turned to look at the large brute. "My body seems to be betraying me once again. But I suppose I should be used to it by now," he revealed. Reizn didn't seem surprised.
"I suppose that the others left you a little sick. It should have been rectified by now." Kiligan listened. Reizn always seemed so much smarter than he himself did. "But I believe you're doing fine. You haven't died from it. You've gotten stronger I'm sure." Reizn's voice had tones of kindness despite their feud. Kiligan sat, a thick cough rumbling up from his chest. Reizn's hard eyes held a look of concern. "Are you hungry, old friend?" Kiligan was surprised at the level of comraderie Reizn was showing. He was usually quite cold.
"Yes. I suppose." Reizn nodded, standing and turning towards the direction of the field. Kiligan could smell the prey that was grazing, and he watched as Reizn stalked it. It was a short kill. Within moments, the large male had brought back the corpse of a mountain goat. A smile encroached on Kiligan's maw in thanks. The meal would help the unsteadiness in his stomach disappear. They ate in silence, and afterwards Kill found it hard to keep his eyes open.
He slept well. When his eyes opened again, Reizn had disappeared. It left him cold. Despite their animosity, Reizn had been company and Kiligan always seemed to be alone. He stood with difficulty, which brought the sounds of growls to an animal behind him. He snarled, turning to face it. The wolf that stood in front of him was much smaller than Reizn, with a dirty coat and bloody muzzle. A female. And an angry one. "I suggest you leave, female." It was a trigger to rage, and she pounced. Kiligan let out a roar of pain, slamming the small body into a nearby tree with his powerful shoulder. She whimpered painfully and he stepped back to watch her slide to the floor of the forest. Reizn was correct in assuming he was stronger. "I told you to leave," he told her, slipping into the shadows. Hatred rolled off of him in waves as he made his way to some far off destination. His mind churned with thoughts of death.
OOC:Well, I expanded it. It's still crap. Anyways, I'm not going to write that many words in each post I do of course. I might be able to muster up 350 in each post. This is more like the length of an introduction.
word count: 816
WHY YOU SHOULD BE CHOSEN: Uh. Because I'm awesome? I dunno, labbie...what am I supposed to put here? I'm a friendly, fair and active person who will be prompt to get things done and try my hardest to keep my pack active!
WILL YOU BE ACTIVE? Hellz yush! There's no one more active than me!
CAN YOU MAKE IMAGES FOR THE PACK? I think I can make myself some images, yes. Don't worry about it.

Blitzkrieg, GENDER: Male AGE: 4 years PACK DESIRED: Heevlane
BIO: Blitz
BEST RP EXAMPLE: A small creature exploded from the grass beside the beast as he moved, apparently expecting him to chase after it. Instead he just lay there, eyes watching it run away as fast as it possibly could, not even looking back to realize that the danger it had expected, wasn't there at all. Running this way, running that way. Everything ran, letting life pass them by without notice, going on nothing but the adrenaline that running gave them. Some ran to survive, and some ran... just to run. Blitz believed that life should be taken slowly, enjoying the beauty that was around them; even so, he often found himself running as well. Pale eyes gazed up at the sky, watching as the sun ventured towards the horizon, the moon starting to rise and the stars peeking out from their day-long rest. Even the moon and the sun ran, chasing each other through the sky and each taking their turn at ruling over the other.
There were always rules and some game of chase going on as you looked about the world, it was the way of life. Yet still, one had to wonder what would happen if there were no rules. What if the rabbit insisted on fighting back rather than running, what would we think of that? What if the stars decided to show during the day? All the questions filled the beast's mind, and he was constantly trying to answer them. Day and night went, and he had answered some of them, but some were still left unanswered.
Maybe all questions weren't meant to be answered. There were unanswerable for a reason, so you would always be left wondering. Wondering... thinking... Those things make your mind run. Even when you aren't physically moving, your mind is in constant motion. Blitz thought to himself, giving a sigh. Life is taken too fast lately, it seems wherever you look, things are moving. Yes, motion is a way of life, but sometimes one must slow down, at least try to reduce the motion. His train of thought rocketed off on its own now, ears flicking as he listened to himself think.
Standing up, he gazed around at the dark surroundings, eyes finally resting on the moon now high above. The heat of the day was wearing away as night continued; a nice breeze rolling in; stars shining brighter and the sun completely out of sight. Tomorrow, the same thing would happen. The moon and stars would disappear, and the sun would come back with its blazing heat. It was a cycle, unbroken for as long as anyone could remember. But Blitz still wondered; what if this cycle was broken?
If the sun no longer rose, it would always be dark. We would have to adjust, the way of life would be completely different. Blitz thought, stepping forward and beginning a moonlit walk across the grasses. Things would die off, for some things can only live in the sun. Come to think of it, a lot of things would die off. And yet other things would thrive, for they rely on the darkness to be strong. Pausing for a moment to gather his thoughts he stared down at his paws, claws digging in to the dirt underfoot.
With every change there are ups and downs, positives and negatives. I suppose, for now, life is good where it's at. Things are balanced, for the most part, and we have come to accept the way it is. If anything did change, I suppose everyone would be taken aback. Blitz ended his thoughts there, letting his mind wander as he picked up his paws again and continued along.
A breeze accompanied him as he entered a group of trees, shadows now consuming the path he was traveling on. With the leaves creating a canopy above, it was like the moon wasn't there at all, it's light completely gone. Slinking through the trees, pale eyes caught site of the end of the darkness, moon light shining down and lighting up the valley coming in to view. The wide open area, the breeze passing through, it created an opportunity that Blitz wasn't about to pass up.
The male's large paws began hitting the ground at a faster pace, increasing speed as the clearance became closer. A smirk upon his face, Blitz erupted from the trees, leaves fallen from the trees spraying behind him as he took off. Long legs extended as far as they could, stretching out and carrying himself over the path worn out by other creatures before him. His strides were rocky at first, deciding on a pace to take. Soon they evened out, each one the same as the one before it, a soothing rhythm created by the graceful beast. His size would cause others to assume he was a lumbering oaf, and yet he could easily prove them wrong.
Thinking back to his previous thoughts of running, the beast cast a small chuckle out in to the night air. To run for the pure thrill of it, that is the point of running. Just to be free. He thought to himself, grinning even wider now. Yes, it was quiet a thrill. To be able to run as fast as he could, even if for a short while. It made life exciting; the surroundings rushing by, sounds coming and going as if they were whispers. Even if he usually disagreed with letting life pass by in such a rush, he had to admit that, on occasion, it was quite a joy to be able to just take off, leaving his thoughts behind and letting his paws take him.
Spotting more trees ahead he began to slow down, not taking the risk of sprinting through the trees in the dark. Letting out a content sigh, he settled at a slow trot, tail waving out behind him. I suppose that running isn't that bad. He thought, the grin still painted across his muzzle, tongue hanging over the edge of his open jaws. It's a nice escape every once and a while, and the beauty of the earth will still be here after the run is over. So I guess.. yeah. It's not that bad. His own thoughts made him laugh again, slowing down to a walk as he entered the trees. Disappearing in to the shadows he slunk off to go find a place to rest, satisfied with what the day had brought. Everyday new things were thought of, and new decisions were made. This day had been one of many thoughts and questions, more than the usual, and the conclusions he had come to had satisfied him.
