There is nothing else in the world like watching a Thoroughbred run. The racing world breaks more than it makes yet so many are intrigued with it. People live for the thrill of riding, training, or owning a champion. The rewards out way the risks for most yet hundreds take their chances. In the town of Starmount Kentucky, horse racing is the only way of life. Ready to run is this racing world. From trainers to owners, jockeys to stable hands. Every aspect of the racing world can be found here. There are four main stables in the area, Grayson Estates, Richmond Acres, White Pine Estates, and Shamrock Farms. All four are very successful farms that offer different things to their boarders
In the town of Starmount Kentucky, horse racing is the only way of life. The town is located just outside Louisville and is close to all the major tracks in the area. There is one large track located right in the middle of the town, Starmount Downs. The track is top of the line where several different races are held. From Stakes races to simple claiming races, it is all held here. In the town of Starmount everyone knows everybody around here and the community is tight nit. When ever tragedy strikes someone in the town, the people all come together and help that person out. Most of the youth see the town a a prison. A whole of which you could never escape. In Starmount you tend to be stuck where you are born. But this is the world of horse racing, nothing is ever cretin.
Here at Ready to Run there are two Admins. On the board you would know them as Nic Grayson and Melissa Kipfer. Nic is the head trainer and manager of Grayson Estates and Melissa owns White Pine Stable. Both are on everyday and continue to maintain the board. If there is ever a problem Nic or Melissa can handle it and both will help out with all the new members.
Ready to Run is currently taking mod applications and might be taking on one more admin so if you are interested in this pm one of the admins.
Ready to Run is quickly becoming an active RPG. The boards are neat and organized. There is an awesome money system. There are two wonderful very active admins. Several places to rp and mod positions are open. Being that ready to run is a newer rpg there is a farm searching for a owner and there are several head training positions open. Members are quickly pouring in so hurry up and become a member of ready to run and a citizen of the town of Starmount
