Cradle up there's a fragile life: --- Karma You can paint the picture pretty: --- Female But it serves as no disguise: --- Three but who’s counting Its only getting later now: --- 1, April And you've become a waste of time: --- Delspurr
Living on this charming life: Well well, you ask about dear Karma? She is quite an unembellished little she wolf if you were to ask my opinion. She can groom herself for days and never get her fur to behave in any kind of fashion. It really is a pity. In addition, this said fur is so unattractive. A dirty tan is her foundation while black, cream, and ginger attempt to press some appeal upon her. Surely this combination could bring some allure, but sadly, cream acts as leggings. If only you knew how troublesome it is to keep such coloration in pristine condition, so she has simply given up trying. Mud is now the primary color below her shoulder blades over ninety percent of the time. If you were to scrape away this filth, you would find pale silver ringlets that curl up her forelegs to the elbow bend. Enough disparagements about her coats shortcomings, she has enough of that in height. In the most elementary of words, she is tiny. Karma barely reaches twenty seven inches at the shoulders. As she was once told, she is all leg, they being longer than her stature may suggest. In addition, she has little to worry about when told to carry her own weight, as she doesn’t have much to hold in comparison to her brethren. Barely hitting the sixty-two mark, most would take her down two pounds for the sheer burden of her pelt. Lest we make her sound useless, she can contribute something with the next to nothing mass she carries. Though endurance is lacking with such lanky limbs, she is able to move herself if need be. However, getting her in the mood to move is quite another story altogether. One thing you may notice about her is her eyes. Like her body, they are a mix of brown, light to dark, and specks of black and silver. Often, these eyes can be found staring blankly. Either deep in contemplation, but the more likely option, lost in thoughts of her own world
You can write the prefect setting: Oh must you ask this? Very well then dear, I’ll tell you what I need. If you must know forthright, Karma is the kind of girl you’d expect to be put down or excommunicated from any sort of civil society. Blunt, perhaps, but true to the T. Talk to her once and you will see my meaning. Her speech itself should be your first hint. More often than not, her words will get jumbled in the strangest ways. Perhaps you’ll hear a slip of meaning, using the wrong words in conversations. Even conversations with her own being are not unusual. Oh, and I don’t mean simple sentences, but entire conversations with herself are a common happening. If you manage to endure the initial meeting, I have pity on the soul who tries to live with her. She is not a mean wolf, far from it, but often her ambitions are misguided and evil can come from an attempted good deed. You may also notice the lack of attention she has. Boredom or a sudden movement can turn her from an ally to a useless lump in moments. She’s never had real loyalties to anyone, even herself. Karma is too unpredictable to be lumped with anyone to long. All together, it’s impossible to not discern that perhaps, not all is right within that unreadable mind of hers.
But the story I'm not buying: Never one for the dark and dreary, Karma was never subjected to such a life. She was born to the beta pair in her pack, third born out of six live children and two stillborns. She never knew these two who died before birth, thus has never really mourned their passing. With her two brothers being the only male influence beside her father’s, Karma grew as a girl should. Gaining a bit of fighting skill from romps with her siblings and parents, Karma never really had much need for the talent. There was a fairytale peace within the pack that kept her sheltered from any real extremities.
Within her first few months of life, it became apparent that Karma was somewhat different that her siblings. They began to grow and learn while she grew slowly and experienced moments of complete entrancement in the simplest things. Never would the child work when ask or seem to compromise the concept at all. This worried her parents who hoped no one saw this waywardness to be some form of disloyalty. However, rather that hinder this problem, they inevitably encouraged it. Her mother would often scold her for her foolish behavior, yet before the words could sink in, take her to play. They wished her to stay close to them, yet learn how to act properly. They were as misguided as she.
Through two years of her life, she never once found love, respect, or a place in the pack; and she was completely fine with this. Each member knew of her infirmity that plagued her mind and felt pity yet never wished to get involved with the sick she-wolf. Of course, they would speak with her and most defiantly end up playing with the girl, but never did they wish to get personal. Thus, Karma has never had the experience of allure.
To wrap things in a pretty bow, Karma is a runaway. Not intentionally, yet the title sticks. When she was passing her second year, she wandered farther than usual, stumbling upon an exposed silver vein. Unable to resist its shining charm, she followed this seam until it retreated back underground. Karma, not being one of direction found herself lost, yet the little she-wolf found this as nothing more than a new adventure to be had.
