Taking a step or so back as he stood up again and spoke, she gave another shrug at his words, "It matters not to me, I was just concerned about the flowers. And don't you prefer looking down to looking up?" She said with a slight smirk, eyes darting to the sky for a moment before looking up at him once more.
As his voice came again, her eyes shone with curiosity. Hunted? Why would one be... hunted? Now the thoughts starting springing up in her head, trying to figure out the meaning of his words. But still, she could not. "I doubt anyone would hunt you, sir." Calamity began, rolling around the words on her tongue, "But you are quite interesting, yes."
Taking a slight stroll around him, she came full circle and stood back where she was before, ears still swiveling on her head as her mind raced and she listened to the winds. "You're a mystery, Deloth. I suppose that is why you are interesting. Many creatures find mysteries.. quite interesting." She thought closely about what he had said still, but she had almost given up trying to figure him out. Just going with it seemed to be her best option, he wasn't turning out to be someone that she could just assume things with.
Another wind came across them and she frowned for a second, eyes moving to the sky. Was nature playing with them? It sent brutal winds, but there seemed like nothing more was coming. A trick of the mind, maybe? The calm before the treacherous storm. Whatever it was, she didn't like it, and she wished the weather away with her thoughts.

She began to speak again, and she really did make very little sense, one second it appears she wants him standing and off of the flowers, the next she dosn't care what he is doing and so thus really makes no sense with her chosen words. And yet, did he ever really make any true sense? She seemed convinced that he would rather look down at her than have to look up to be able to see her.
"You know m'dear, you make very little sense yourself, one minuet you would rather I get up, the next you don't care."
Females was the thought that came to mind first after speaking but not long after he had closed his muzzle she was speaking again, about how he is intresting, a mystery hey? Well that was something he never before had been described as, but guessed it could be something acceptable. Looking down at the little lady, soon deciding that sitting is better than standing, he glanced to the sky. She had given him a full 'inspection' and still couldn't figure anything about him out, well to a point this was a good thing...
"I assume a storm breaks behind me and will slowly make it's way toward us, and I doubt that it will be raining but rather snowing." |
His fur became ruffled once more as the wind tried to bite at his body, only catching his thick fur, his eyes for this time did not leave the smaller fae wondering if she would soon be running off to find somwehere to shelter for the night or if she would brave the storm and show no fear to it... Calamity let out a small laugh as he spoke again, eyes drifting away from him and watching the sky as it continued to darken "Do any of us ever actually make sense?" She said quietly, half to herself and half to him. It seemed like she had gotten more comfortable with him, even if she couldn't figure him out. Maybe life wasn't all about figuring everyone out, but accepting them.
Looking back at him she sat as well, tail curling around her paws. Wings were outstretched for a moment as he spoke about the weather, causing her to glance behind him and fold her wings back close to her sides. Snowing... eh? Well what an adventure that would be.
"Well then I welcome the storm, I doubt it could be too terrible." Calamity said, still looking past him. "If it is coming, let it. I shan't be frightened away by some storm." She added, grinning slightly as she looked directly at him now. "Shall you brave the storm with me, Deloth?" An invitation to stay? Was she actually trying to be friendly?
It was true, her words were sincere. She didn't wish him away like she did most, she almost wanted to get to know him better. Whatever went on in his mind, it seemed to secretly fascinate her. She kept telling herself that it was just to find out more about him, but she knew that there was more than that. It was the possibility of having someone to talk to, the possibility that a friendship could develop out of this little meeting.

Aha! he knew someone who made sense, but then at the same time he didn't, he made sense to himself and in truth as long as he made sense to himself then that is all that really matters, because what others think is of little importance in this dying world. Well he had so far met two Luzion faes, both had wings, what was this something known to the species. Or at least the female side of it, were there so few amongst the isle of Trussle. Oh well small world, few beings amongst it...
Barely a smile broke his stone face as he saw her smile, not long after speaking, well either she was stubborn, stupid or just trying to prove something. Oh well, storms held no fear for him and so thus he would be staying, around him snow slowly began to fall showing the begin of the storm, calm before the storm, it would surely worsen later, or at least he hoped it would, storms always made things much more fun... Erm...
"The storm holds nothing to be feared, everything to fear life has already shown."
Yes he was speaking in a different tone once more, and yet at the same time his tone did not change, dead and uncaring, and yet wise and knowing. But to be able to find everything in his tone you first must understand his mindest, and even he has trouble with that!
"Well I would have only been hunting, but I guess that will wait...." |
Yes he was previously planning on hunting himself something of a reasonable size, a deer or goat or something of the like, it would sustain him for a couple of days before he would want to or need to hunt again. Tail pulled close to the brutes large paws as he waited to see if the female would find something more to speak of....
